The ERASMUS+ OLS exam is an entry level test for language, comparable to visa language test, but it is not a suitable test for academic or other work requirements. For that you should look to other tests in our site.

How is the test scored? | The Erasmus+ OLS exam follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) proficiency levels, so you score is reported using the CEFR descriptors for each level. The minimum score is therefore A1, and the highest score is C2. |

What is a good ERASMUS+ OLS score? | B1 - B2 is intermediate, and functional for travel and interaction with native English speakers. C1 - C2 is a good score, meaning you are fully fluent and able to use English at a similar level to native speakers. |
Keep in mind that these are just indicators, and will not prevent you from joining an Erasmus+ mobility activity. |
What are the alternatives? | There are no direct alternatives, the ERASMUS+ OLS test is part of the ERASMUS+ European programme. When applying to participate, other language proficieny tests which correspond to the CEFR may also be acceptable, such as IELTS, PTE, Cambridge CA or FCE, and many more. |
